NON-FORMAL EDUCATION

In 1991, AIM recognized the growing issue of illiteracy in its target areas, following comprehensive surveys conducted by the field team in Daudnagar, Salik Town, Khushall Town, Ibn-e-Mariam, and Malkhawala. Through interactions with the local community, it became clear that poverty was forcing children to work during the day, making it difficult for them to attend traditional morning school sessions.AIM engaged in lengthy discussions with the community to find a solution that would address this obstacle to education. The result was the establishment of Non-formal Education Centers, where evening classes were offered free of charge. These centers aimed to provide basic education to

YOUTH SKILLS TRAINING

AIM has completed several youth skill training projects, focusing on empowering young individuals with practical skills and knowledge. These projects include computer hardware training for boys, car driving training, computer literacy for girls, AYG social forestry project, a gym project for girls, low-cost computer courses for boys, and rural youth development projects. While some of these projects have been completed, the gym for women and the driving training center are currently running due to their high demand within the local community.These skill training programs hold great importance as they equip young individuals with the necessary tools to thrive in today’s ever-changing

AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT

AIM organization has completed several impactful projects in the fields of agriculture and the environment. These projects include the goat scheme for poor families in 15 villages of the Okara district, tree plantation projects, veterinary training programs, farmer’s awareness and training projects, fertilizer programs for farmers, agroforestry programs with rural youth, kitchen gardening awareness projects, farmer’s seed cooperation schemes in Sahiwal region, community-based sanitation projects in Salik Town, low-cost sanitation for poor families, and tree plantation programs for small farmers.These projects were spearheaded by Anthony Matthew, a student of horticulture, who had a deep passion for nature, plants, and the environment.

RELIEF WORK

The AIM team showed great concern and took immediate action in response to natural disasters, providing relief and support to affected communities

The AIM team also extended their support to the victims of the earthquake in Quetta, providing emergency relief aid to those affected. Their efforts aimed at providing immediate assistance and helping the affected communities recover from the disaster.n the devastating floods of 2022, the AIM team set up medical camps in the affected areas, providing essential medical care to those in need. They also distributed food, clothing, and other essentials to support the affected families during these difficult times.
